I wanted to make a visual representation of how this syndrome is making me feel.
I hope it's something other sufferers can relate to as well.
I included some of the tender points that were visible and also darkened the areas that are more painful in my own body.
I'll be using it as my avatar on the Fibromyalgia group at live journal, but anyone it's also available as magnets, mugs, prints etc here at DA

it was very difficult to put this into a category, so i went with psychadelic.

I have found your beautiful artwork of the woman suffering from fibromyalgia showing the tenderpoints. I am a registered nurse living in Copenhagen Denmark, and I will defend my PhD thesis on rehabilitation of women with fibromyalgia on July 1st. this year. I was very touched by your beautiful artwork, and I would like to enquire if I may print it on the cover of my thesis. I will of course send you a copy of the thesis, which might also interest you.
Pleas let me know it this would be possible. It would look wonderful on the cover which will be purple, and it would for sure contribute to raise awareness within the field in Denmark.
