I went to a workshop in Mt Tomah on botanical drawing and using leaves for fairy wings and stuff.
This guy was the result. His wings were drawn from a Chinese maples leaves.
I confess to once again being influenced by Amy Brown for the square frame and vine. I thought it looked like a doorway into a magical realm, and he is guarding it.
