Looking within for Freya

This was a self portrait that I did for an art show a few years back. It's acrylics on stretched calico, which was all I had at the time. My husband made the frame for me.
The title reflects the thoughts behind composing the end image. I wanted to do something that explored the idea of myself as a sexual being. So I had a friend take some shots in a low cut dress and tried to make myself look appealing.
I enjoyed the process, and have learned quite a lot since then which I probably should put into practice again.
